The article examined the current problems of implementing the norms of the Russian legislation on insolvency (bankruptcy), which are associated with the implementation of the financial recovery procedure for legal entities. The author investigated the practice of applying the relevant standards, and also analyzed the relevant statistical data. The conclusion is made about the low efficiency of this bankruptcy procedure. As a rule, the debtor seeks to use the appropriate legal mechanism not for its intended purpose, but as a means of obtaining installment plans, removing arrests at the disposal of property. The proposals on improving the current bankruptcy law, as well as the practice of its application, are substantiated.
