Organizational and engineering reliability is one of the main indicators of the efficiency of construction organizational process, which determines the timeliness of work with a given probability, and obtaining the planned result in the conditions of the probabilistic nature of the work. The most suitable model for reflecting probabilistic construction processes is a network schedule that shows the correlation of works and allows to identify a «critical path» that determines the construction period of the facility.
The article presents the results of assessment of reliability of organizational and engineering solutions when designing a complex of works on construction of a bridge on a section of a railway line by method of statistical tests. The calculations make it possible to draw the following conclusion: the accepted work engineering and equipping with working and technical resources, make it possible to ensure the required level of reliability of the construction schedule only by creating temporary redundancy, which will provide additional time for making a rational management decision or a reserve of time necessary to restore the functioning of the flow in case of failure.
