Abstract:

The article reveals issues related to the essence of international economic sanctions, the goals and principles of their introduction. This issue, although reflected in the work of a number of scientists, is still not fully explored and has a number of contradictions. For the correct interpretation of international economic sanctions in the framework of the study, it was important to determine their fundamental difference from some related concepts. This work touches upon various aspects of the sanctions regime, the conditions and possibilities for the functioning of states within the framework of this restriction, as well as the consequences of the introduction of such measures for both the participating countries and the target countries of international economic sanctions.
