Abstract:

The railway runs through the territory of all the constituent entities of the country in which various climatic conditions have developed. With all this, having a complex track topography with various radii of curves, the load-zone density increases every year throughout the entire railway network.

Ensuring the safety of rolling stock is the main condition for the normal operation of railways. Numerous programs to improve the safety of the movement of rolling freight and passenger trains are very relevant, since the problems identified during the derailments of moving trains depend not only on the track, but also on the good condition of the car as a whole. Statistical data on derailments over the past two decades indicate a gradual decrease, however, under certain operating conditions, there are sharp surges in the number of derailments, especially empty cars in freight trains.
