This article discusses aspects of ensuring the economic security of insurance companies, types of security threats, as well as the reasons for their occurrence, indicators of profitability and liquidity of the enterprise. An analysis of the activities of the Gas Industry Insurance Company Joint Stock Company was carried out, and the weak and strong sides in economic security were identified, such as low profitability indicators and low level of liquidity. The work of the company's internal security service was also considered, a comparative characteristic of its activities for a certain period of time was carried out. Measures were proposed to increase the level of economic security, solutions were identified to increase the level of profitability and liquidity, which will further ensure greater efficiency of the insurance company and its stable position in the state economy.
