The purpose of this work is to study the current state and economic implications of digital projects in the locomotive complex of JSC "Russian Railways". In the course of this work, the materials on the subject of the study were studied, the main provisions of the concept of "digital railway" were considered, as well as the main activities that were carried out in the locomotive complex of JSC «Russian Railways» in the field of digitalization were studied. In conclusion, it is noted that at the moment the level of digitalization in the locomotive repair complex of Russian Railways is not quite high, however, the development of this area allows us to hope that in the near future the use of digital technologies will significantly modernize this area and make a transition to a new technical level.
