The article analyzes the stock market of the Russian Federation at the present stage of economic development. The main indicators showing the development of the stock market in recent years are considered. The positive dynamics of the qualitative development of this sector of the financial market is presented. The development of the stock market is analyzed taking into account the peculiarities of the development of the Russian economy. The main features of the state of the stock market in recent years, reflecting short-term development trends, are given. The analysis of the influence of the main indicators on the dynamics of the MICEX index is carried out. The dynamics of the profitability of fixed assets that can be investment objects in recent years are presented. In the conclusion, the main conclusions of the analysis carried out in the article are presented.
