In this article the problem of efficiency of business processes, their actuality and the problem of high-performance jobs are considered on the example of the Krasnoyarsk railway. Special attention is paid to the system of dispatching operational control of train traffic. The aim of the work is to improve the management structure: clarification of functions, elimination of multi-stages and their duplication. After a functional analysis of the activities and duties of the operational staff of the dispatch center it is proposed to exclude the position of dispatcher for regulating the car fleet from the organizational structure of the dispatcher center for transportation management and his job responsibilities should be redistributed among other employees.
