Abstract: 

The article deals with the technical implementation of the experimental information model of the section of the overhead contact line by means of the computer-aided design system AutoCAD. The main task of the described model is to demonstrate the effectiveness of using modern information technologies and technical means in relation to the development of projects of the overhead contact line.
