Abstract: 

The article is devoted to the current problem of protecting the human body from UV rays using various sunscreens. The data obtained as a result of research expand the current understanding of the role of sunscreens as a method of protection from UV radiation. Research contributes to the explanation of the process of penetration of ultraviolet rays through various sunscreens into the human body. The study examined the ability of sunscreens to absorb UV radiation, as a degree of protection of the DNA structure of Lubomirskia baicalensis.
